June 2020 and we are back to the office, to be honest not very confident after so long at home and having no students around for the first time in 10 years.
How is everything going to change now?
Let me give you my thoughts as a founder of this company in 2010, after 10 years of hard work and only one year after moving to a new office.
As you know, Tenerife Job Training works as an intermediary organisation helping students, teachers and project managers around Erasmus and mobilities abroad.
Our offices also offer a Coworking Space COCO - COsta Adeje COworking offering to digital nomads and small startup options to work together and sharing ideas and sinergies.
SO WHAT NOW???
I am going to share my ideas so I can come back to this post in a year time and see how things have been going and how much close I got to take the right decision:
MY TENERIFE JOB TRAINING COVID RECOVERY PROJECT:
We just learned that The European Union has cut the budget for the coming years for Erasmus Plus: https://thepienews.com/news/erasmus-eu-funding-proposals-drop-by-e24-billion/
With this situation and still trying ot be positive this is our plan:
1.- Remote internships: this is a limited option of internships that can ony be offered for a few areas like, sales, commercial, marketing, IT administration, communication areas. At this moment, we are developing the planning to be able to offer them to our students. Are you a student ready for that? Will your university accept it? We are still trying to get these answers from students and educational institutions.
2. - Erasmus Training Courses for teachers:
We have created short courses for teachers related to tourism, entrepreneurship and managing Erasmus placements abroad. The idea is that the course have two days of theoretical learning and two days for practical learning so teacher will be able to share this innovative learning at universities and vocational schools where they teach:

MY COCO - COSTA ADEJE COWORKING COVID RECOVERY PROJECT:
We are not sure about digital nomads coming back to us for now, let us be optimistic and hope that after summer 2020 and when the cold winter hit the world, we will still be attractive with our mild 20 degrees Celsius as we allied a cold winter day in the south of Tenerife. Canary Islands. While we wait to the digital nomads to come back, we are sure that Coworking spaces are going to help to all those small companies and self employees that have lost the option of having their own office due to the high expenses of it. It's not only a question of saving money, it's also a question of sharing ideas, contacts, synergies, cooperation’s and hope to be able to overcome the difficult times that are coming now.
LET'S SEE HOW MUCH OF THIS DREAM HAS COME TRUE IN A YEAR TIME ¡¡
Good luck to all of us¡¡
