1.- Speaking at least some basic of Spanish is very important, you may feel frustrated when a client comes smiling at you with a question that you do not unsderstand. Do not panick, you can learn some basic communication sentences in Spanish that will help you with this situations.
2.-If you are a shy person you will realise that training at the animation department will end up with this part of your caracter, in a few weeks you will be a very popular person at the hoel and talking to everybody around you will be the normal thing to do from the morning.
3.- You may be required also to go on stage and perform some famous musical shows all dress up. Are you ready for a big aplause?
4.-Animation department has a lot to do with public relations and guest service, most of the times you will find out that clients prefer to complain or congratulate the hotel service with you instead of goint to reception and finding a manager to talk to. Remember always to be assertive and take the suggestion or problem of that client to a person in charge, this is very important to keep the satisfaction level of clients.
Always the main thing is that you have fun and enjoy your work, if you don’t, this is not your professional future.
