¿With which conditions would I have to comply to internship in a hotel? You have to be between 18 and 32 years old.You must be a European citizen.You must have knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Spanish or English. What happens in the case of not being able to speak Spanish? In this instance, the assigned positions of internship will be those which require the least amount of contact with the public. Therefore, we recommend that you have at least a basic to medium command of the language to be able to apply for certain posts which may be of interest to you. ¿And if I am unhappy with the hotel? TJT will assess your evolution on a weekly basis and, should you have any kind of problem, we will help you with it. Should you require to change hotels, TJT will offer you any available options within the same type of work. Please bear in mind that you must have justified reasons for wanting to change hotels as this kind of situation creates a problem for the hotels. Can I return to my home country at any time? In order to avoid any problems, the hotels do not sign a contract with the trainee as they appreciate that the finalization date could be brought forward. As stated in the previous clause, any alteration of the finishing date must be for a justified reason. TJT will help you to find a return flight. Where will I be accommodated? The hotels always provide shared accommodation without any extra costs for the student. Normally, you will share a room in an apartment with a person of the same sex and one who is working in the same hotel. If your internship company is not a hotel you should pay for the accommodation expenses. What happens if I cannot find the hotel on the day of arrival? How long does the internship period overseas last? . Will I need to spend money? Will I have everything confirmed before arriving in Tenerife? |
